Handing your baby over to someone else is one of the biggest milestones you’ll face as a parent. At Little Pasitos, we don't just provide childcare—we create a second home. In our warm, shoe-free infant sanctuary, your little one will be cradled in affection, surrounded by soft Spanish lullabies, and nurtured through every rolling, crawling, and growing milestone.
Our Typical Daily Rhythm
Arrival Time/Breakfast/Free Play
A Gentle Start to the Day
At Little Pasitos, we welcome your baby with open arms. This time is all about a smooth transition from your arms to ours. Infants enjoy a morning bottle or breakfast brought from home, followed by floor time exploration.
Our teachers are on the floor interacting, using rich, descriptive Spanish vocabulary as your baby reaches for toys and explores their surroundings.
Morning Nap Time
Restful, Safe Morning Sleep
We know that sweet dreams require feeling completely safe. Our quiet, cozy nap niche features individual cribs where babies can rest according to their own biological schedules or a routine established at home. Teachers rock, cuddle, and soothe infants to sleep with soft llulabies or music, ensuring they wake up refreshed and ready to learn
Lunch
Nourishing Hands-On Learning
Mid-day meals are a wonderful opportunity for language development and independence! As older infants practice self-feeding with their prepared lunches brought from home, teachers sit with them, naming foods, colors, and textures in Spanish (manzana roja, agua).
Circle time
Music, Movement, & Language Immersion
This is where the magic of Spanish immersion truly comes alive for our littlest learners! We gather on the rug for a brief, high-energy session of Spanish songs, fingerplays, puppets, and brightly colored board books. Infants naturally absorb the syntax and rhythms of a second language through repetitive rhythms, music, and expressive facial gestures.
Activity Time/Fine Motor Skills
Curiosity in Action
Our infants participate in daily sensory and fine motor activities tailored to their developmental milestones. Whether its grasping textured balls, splashing in a tiny bit of water, finger painting with edible paste, or turning book pages, these hands-on experiences build brain connections. Teachers narrate every action in Spanish, connecting the words directly to what the child is feeling and doing.
Afternoon Nap Time
Recharging for the Afternoon
A second scheduled rest period ensures our growing infants get the deep sleep they need to stay happy, healthy, and curious for the rest of the day. Teachers ensure a peaceful, supervised environment so every baby can sleep soundly and wake up completely refreshed.
Snack Time
Healthy Fuel & Social Routines
After waking up from their afternoon rest, infants enjoy an afternoon bottle or a quick, healthy snack packed from home. Teachers use this calm, small-group time to model social language, practice table manners, and reinfornce Spanish vocabulary related to eating and drinking.
Gross Motor Time
Growing Big and Strong
We love helping your baby hit those milestones--from tummy time and rolling over to crawling, pulling up, and taking those exciting first steps (pasitos).
Free Play & Pick-Up Time
An Easy Transition Home
As the day winds down, infants enjoy child-led free play with their favorite classroom toys. When you arrive, we will provide your child's belongings and give you a warm wrap-up of their day, pairing our verbal update with the digital updates your receive through the app.
What to Bring
Infant Classroom
We want to make drop-offs and pick-ups as "easy-peasy" as possible for both you and our teachers! To do this, we keep your bulk supplies right here at Little Pasitos. That way, you never have to worry about packing and forgetting items back and forth.
On a daily basis, the only things you will need to bring in your child's lunchbox or small bag with their daily bottles and solid foods!

To comply with state regulations and keep our classrooms safe, all items, bottles, and food containers must be clearly labeled with your child's first and last name.

2 Crib-Sized Sheets
Standard fitted sheets for their individual crib.

Depending on your baby's age and milestones, to ensure safe and cozy nap times
Note: Bedding items will be sent home on Fridays to be washed and to be returned on Monday

Safe Sleep Standards
We strictly follow all state safe-sleep guidelines. All infants are placed on their backs to sleep in their own dedicated, labeled crib. No toys, blankets, or bumpers are ever placed inside the cribs.
Safe Exploration Space
Our classroom features a shoe-free floor zone and specialized, ultra-clean rug area so your baby can roll, crawl, and practice their pasitos (little steps) safely.

We maintain a strict indoor-only shoe policy in our classrooms. We ask that parents provide a clean, brand-new pair of easy to put on footwear (such as Crocs) to keep permanently at the center, replacing them as your little one grows.
Why we love this:
Think about what regular shoes walk through outside—dirt, bacteria, pavement chemicals, and rainwater. Because our infants and toddlers spend so much of their day playing, crawling, and sitting right on the floor, keeping outdoor shoes out means our floors remain a pristine, safe, and ultra-clean environment for your child’s hands, knees, and toys!

Stay Connected All Day Long
Like with our other programs, you'll stay connected to your baby through our mobile parent app where you will receive an update between 1-3PM. Together with the app and end-of-day update at pick up, you will receive updates on:

🚽 Diaper changes or potty training successes
